Jumpstart your career at our PRIME facility, where our products are known for setting lap records, and the site is known for innovation!  PRIME’s market niche is ultra-high-performance tires, with customers including Corvette, Mercedes, Ford Mustang, Tesla, Lucid, Rivian, Cadillac, and motorsports racing

This posting is for a rotation program, with the expected evolution of the individual to develop into a manufacturing or quality operations leader.  The rotations will be in different quality-related engineering roles within the plant and will be approx. 2 years each depending on performance and business need.

Ensure quality progress performance in his/her area of responsibility.

Monitor and apply MMW (Michelin Manufacturing Way) best practices in his/her area of responsibility. Conducts root cause analysis and develops actions to resolve manufacturing and design issues.

To obtain Process Quality control by the Total Process Control/Variation Reduction (MTP/VR) method, identification/mitigation of risks (quality planning), and development of standards for his/her area of responsibility.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Industrialize tires that meet the tire performance requirements and achieve industrial performance indicators

• Communicate and collaborate with transverse team (from upper management to operators)

• Delivered products are compliant with quality planning models and are manufactured in compliance with obtention standards. Sound MMW practices are applied.
• Quality and productivity performances comply with goals defined by the shop. Right the first-time principles are applied.
• Customer risks, product compliance and quality performance risks are anticipated. Actions to reduce risks are implemented.
• All complaints, nonconformities, nonstandard situations and performance shifts are processed appropriately.
• Effectiveness of implemented actions is demonstrated.
• Causes of anomalies and nonperformance are resolved and are input into the progress plan.
• Contribute to the definition of the progress plan
• Help others gain quality job competencies (mentoring, training, etc.)

The product characteristics and process parameters (6M) are monitored and controlled by deploying the MTP/VR.

Special causes are under control. Root causes are identified and addressed. Appropriate problem-solving tools are applied effectively. The quality performance of the process is demonstrated.
