This role is based in Michelin Corporate & Business Services in Bucharest, where more than 800 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Order to Cash, Service Management and Personnel.
As Continuous Improvement Manager you will:
1. Ensure that the target performance (productivity, quality) within the defined perimeter is achieved.
2. Deliver the results of the projects and initiatives you support or lead, both nationally and regionally.
3. Foster the autonomy of teams within the defined perimeter, at both national and regional levels.
4. Actively contribute to an Operational Excellence framework and toolkit implementation and enhancement.
5. Support the enhancement of the Performance Management and Reporting Framework.
6. Contribute to the development of the skills of your evaluated mentees.
The role is accountable for:
Improving and promoting the culture of continuous improvement, by embedding the progress methodologies into 'the way we work' within the entity.
Implementing and facilitating the continuous improvement plan/projects, focused on enhancing customer / partner experience, while removing waste and reducing cost.
Works with the respective entities to support performance problems solving and to find opportunities for improvement.
Provide direct mentorship to multiple Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement projects to support client needs (eg. green belt certifications).
Enhance relationships and partnering with customers and internal partners; implements relevant sustainable operating methods (governance, rituals, performance management) in his / her perimeter.
Ensures projects are focused on adding new value for the organization with an eye towards quality assurance of processes and deliverables.
Supports implementation of key projects within the respective entities by coaching, facilitation, project management.
Identifies, proposes and actively pursues opportunities and initiatives to increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the entity's strategy and operations.
Animates and encourages the sharing of good practices and the cooperation in his / her team and broadly in the Michelin Progress network.
What we’re looking for:
Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt certified with proven experience in practicing and delivering efficiencies and process/organization improvements & transformation;
Lean Coaching experience;
Agile and Project Management certifications would be a plus;
Change Management Professional Certification would be a plus;
3-5 years’ in Transformational experience in multinational organization;
Experience in implementing change management and coaching on process improvement;
English at advanced level – French is a plus;
